No one finished Hotter than the Oakland Athletics in the Show in 2012 and now they get to face the AL Triple Crown Winner Miggy and the Prince of the D along the Show's Top Strikeout Duo of Max Scherzer and Justin Verlander for a chance to head to the AL Championship Series.

The A's will try to keep riding the Wave of invincibility in Detroit as it will be the 1st Team to 3 Wins out of 5. Led by OF Josh Reddick's 332 Bombs and 85 Ribbies and Cuba's Own Yoenis Cespedes' 23 Bombs 82 Ribbies and a .292 Average the A's will be swinging to knock out the Tigers who have the Best Power Pitchers and Power Hitters left in the Show for the Post Season.

The Athletics Pitching Staff is led by Committee as 6 Pitchers have 15 or more Starts in 2K12 and the Top Two Pitchers LHP Tommy Milone (13-10 3.74 ERA) and RHP Jarrod Parker (13-8 3.47 ERA) will have the enviable task of facing the Horses of the AL and the Show in Verlander and Scherzer. Grant Balfour (24 Saves) and Ryan Cook (14 Saves) close Games by Committee even though of late it has been all Balfour. The A's are the Same Guy in the Pitching Staff as they are in the Line Up and that's what makes them so Dangerous.

The Tigers have RHP Power Pitchers in Justin Verlander (17-8 239 Ks) and Max Scherzer (16-7 231 Ks) leading a Staff that is Top Heavy. 3 and 4 Starters Fister and Porcello are capable but the Staff relies on the Top 2 Guns and Closer Jose Valverde's 35 Saves in 40 Chances. The Tigers are going to need one of the Two in Fister or Porcello to step up if they want to win this Series as Verlander for sure will get Two cracks at it if it goes 4 or 5.

The Tigers pose arguably the Top 3-4 Hitters left in the Show with 2012 AL Triple Crown Winner Miguel Cabrera and 1B Star Prince Fielder whose numbers are down solely because of the Man he is protecting knocking everything in in front of Prince. They also have Lead-Off Extraordinaire in Austin Jackson (.300 Avg 16 HR 66 RBI) and OF Delmon Young(.267 18 HR 74 RBI). The Tigers have plenty of Pop in that Line Up but the Post Season is all about Pitching and Defense and do they have enough of both to cool of the Blazin' A's?

The Tigers have Vets who have been Here before but the Athletics have MO' and a Nice Balance of Good Hitting and Pitching not relying on a Handful of Players but on the Clubhouse in its entirety.
