If you would have told me before Team Spain's the Gasol Brothers and Juan Carlos Navarro would combine for 62 and the Durantula, King James, and the Black Mamba would combine for 66 I probably would have told you the US might get a Silver. But then we go to that Old Cliche...."Don't tell me How many you Scored...When did you Score them".

Team USA's battles Tested Roster in the NBA Playoffs and Top Shelf Talent maneuvered their way right to the Gold Medal as Lob City's Point God CP3 made Key Play after Key Play or Bucket to finally seal Spain's Fate 107-100.

CP3 only had 11 pints but 8 of those came late in the 4th Frame as KD's 30, King James 19, and the Black Mamba's 17 led the US to Victory. Not to be outdone was Pau and Marc Gasol who had 24 and 21 respectively with Marc playing the last 2 Frames with 4 Fouls. Juan Carlos Navarro kept Spain in it with his Money Balls and excellent play on the Perimeter. Sergio Rodriguez also had some Splash Plays which ultimately led me to think about What If...Ricky Rubio was on the Floor. He would have been huge as would have been See Red's ADIzero Hero D-Rose...just wishful thinking at the end of the day.

Coach K goes 62-1 in his Final International Coaching Game as Team USA's Lead Man. Team USA goes 8-0 through the Olympic Games and they were tested as expected and also as expected went GOLD Rush 2012.
