He already looks like he is on Top of You throwing from 60'6" and with 5 Pitches at anytime in the Count can be devastating to say the least. A Big-Time Prospect out of Simi Valley HS in Simi Valley, California (also Home of 1988 Big Mac and UCLA All-American Basketball player now Professional Shooting Coach in the LA Area Don McLean) he and Older Brother Jeff...Jered has became Dominant as any pitcher in the Show.

As we go to Press...Jered is 14-1 in 122 +Innings with a 2.29 ERA. He has struck out 92 and Only walked 27. He has given 10 Bombs and Only 89 Hits. Weaver is the Ace of the halos Staff that also has Dan Haren, CJ Wilson, and Ervin Santana. Yes they will most likely get into Winning Time and will have to face their Rival the Rangers or the Bronx Bombers.

What makes Weaver so Nasty from the Bump is his ability to consistently stay ahead of Hitters and if he gets ahead your at his Mercy. A 2-Seamer and a 4-Seamer with a Slide Piece and a Change. Occasionally he might throw that Local (Curveball) or a Cut Fastball. When he gets ahead I have seen him mainly use his 2-Seamer like most of the Great Ones do.

Weaver is a More-Controlled Version of his Older Brother Jeff who has bounced around to a Few Teams but Jeff had Nasty Stuff as well.

The Big Question going down the Stretch will be if the Halos can get Two from the three I mentioned in Haren, Wilson, and Santana to get Hot as it is Officially the Dog Days of the Show with the Pennant Race 2012 On Deck.

The Bluedude going out on a Limb with Jered Weaver being my AL Favorite for the 2012 CY Young Award.
