Nothing like DECEMBER Football in what BLUEDUDE SPORTSTALK often refers to as CLOSE to WINNING TIME which is PLAYOFF FOOTBALL.

The AFC is up for GRABS as every team from 5-6 and up to 8-3...separated by only 3 GAMES...will be playing PLAYOFF TYPE Football from here on out as everyone is jockeying for position. All the 8-3 Teams are fighting amongst one another to see who gets those CRUCIAL 1st Round Playoff BYES and a 2nd Round Home Game.

The NFL after looking past the PACKERS....is also up for GRABS as you have a host of TEAMS at the 7-4 mark with the SAINTS trying to pull away from the pack and get to that all important 2nd SEED in the CONFERENCE. The LIONS and BEARS are both 7-4 and the BEARS have the easier schedule coming down the stretch but they will be without their #1 QB....so nothing is etched in stone yet for the NFC NORTH's 2nd place.

EAGLES @ QWEST and the 12th ZONE: the EAGLES at 4-7 and the SEAHAWKS at 4-7 makes this the LOSER is in the running for a HIGHER DRAFT PICK in the 2012 NFL April Draft. Who in RODGER GODDEL thought this would be a good game when they made the NFL Schedule.

TITANS @ BILLS: Both of these TEAMS are still in the hunt and the TITANS I still think could catch the TEXANS now they are on their 3rd QB. The BILLS are in a tougher spot having dropped below the .500 mark but they still have a shot.

The TITANS got a dose of GOOD RB CJ28 and that bodes well for them down the stretch. The BILLS are in a confused state with a DUMB WR who thinks he is bigger than that BILLS LOGO. Something has to give but I just think the BILLS have cashed it in.
WINNER: TITANS 23-13....too much CJ28 for the BILLS

CHIEFS @ BEARS: the BEARS welcome this type of a game and if CHIEFS QB Tyler PALKO gets the start in which I highly doubt he will....Kyle ORTON might get the NOD and OH to come back and torch the TEAM that gave up on you...FOOTBALL KARMA.

The BEARS need to get back to NON-TRICKERATION on the Offensive side and KEEP RB Matt FORTE in their thoughts the WHOLE GAME and not just BITS and PIECES. The BEARS D is playing really well but can only do so much when the other team is always getting the BALL in your half of the FIELD....3 PHASES BEARS.

The CHIEFS need to find a substantial Running Attack because Romeo CRENNEL's D will be up for the CHALLENGE.

FALCONS @ TEXANS: In the TEXANS 1st Real Test in Weeks and with their 3rd String QB. The FALCONS on the other hand have WON 3 in a row and are playing their best football and have the SAINTS in their sights.

The TEXANS Recipe for success...run RB Adrian FOSTER until he replies NO MAS in the HUDDLE then turn to all that TALENT in the PASSING GAME and make it a SHORT MANAGEABLE Passing ATTACK to where the TEXANS D can make their mark.

The FALCONS will mix it up and they are facing a really good defense led by EX-COWBOYS 3-4 GURU Wade PHILLIPS who has his boys dialed in. QB Matty ICE RYAN needs to make enough PLAYS down field to keep that 7 man box to get BURNER TURNER going.

RAIDERS @ DOLPHINS: Is there such thing as an TRAP GAME on SUNDAY. Well if there is this is one. The RAIDERS have to know this is not the DOLPHINS from WEEKS 1-7....these DOLPHINS have won their last 3 out of 4 and now they have some home cooking and a throwback matchup with the SILVER and BLACK....HMMMMM.

The RAIDERS have QB PALMER and BIG BACK Micheal BUSH of the 'VILLE CARDINALS picking up where RUN DMC left off. The RAIDERS need to stay away from TURNOVERS and get 7's when need be. The D played well last week vs the BEARS and made the PLAYS to get off the field when they had to.
WINNER: RAIDERS 20-16...BUSH...the SILVER and BLACK Version is on ONE unfortunately for the FINS

BRONCOS @ VIKINGS: TEBOW and the BRONCOS must know going 7-5 and this point and putting the pressure on the RAIDERS is KEY. The VIKINGS are getting valuable time for their ROOKIE QB PONDER and PERCYLAND Harvin has been doing work.

COLTS @ PATRIOTS: Like firing their DEFENSIVE Coordinator is going to light a fire under the COLTS D. This is not what the DOCTOR ordered when your in the position the COLTS are in. Look for the PATS to experiment with everything but watching the COLTS walk-through at the HOTEL on SUNDAY.

BENGALS @ STEELERS: I tell you this much....the BENGALS are playing well and if MY STEELERS play like they did MONDAY vs the PALKO Led CHIEFS....the AFC NORTH will not be WON by the STEELERS or BENGALS and it will be FIGHTING FOR A WILD CARD time in the STEEL CITY.

The BENGALS and their Sensational ROOKIE QB Andy Dalton and WR AJ GREEN have been learning on the fly and boy are they QUICK LEARNERS. They have to use the same game plan vs the STEELERS but have to go down field more if they want to be successful in this one. Just like the BENGALS are making adjustment so are the Dick LEBEAU Led 3-4 ZONE BLTZING Curtain.

The STEELERS have to make the BENGALS pay especially down their BEST COVER CORNER in Leon HALL who is on IR. The RUNNING GAME has to get going in order for the STEELERS to have a RUN in the PLAYOFFS like previous years. Also look for the PASSING GAME to come alive again as the STEELERS know they can pass on the BENGALS all day.

And can SEXY REXY GROSSMAN pull out some of that MAGIC he had last week we all know he is ONCE in every moth QB.
