The news came before kickoff that the NFC north leading Green Bay Packers had lost to the Buffalo Bills opening the door for the Lions take lead the NFC north.  With a Lions "W" (as they hold the tiebreaker by beating the Packers back in September) "Restore the Roar" tries to "Restore order in the NFC north".

It wasn't easy as the Vikes went up 14-0 early in the 2nd on a Matt Asiata TD run and a Greg Jennings TD catch. The Lions looking half interested mustered up a Golden Tate TD catch and a Matt Prater FG in the 2nd making it 14-10 Vikings.

The Lions seemingly running on fumes or a low tank strolling down 7-Mile on  Sunday gets two more Prater's FG's as they shutout the Vikes in the 2nd half winning 16-14. Vikes Rook QB Teddy Bridgewater threw for 315 yards on 31 for 41 but had two INT's and a TD.

Lions QB Matt Stafford threw for 153 yards on 17 for 28 and a TD as the Lions are officially back into the hunt for the NFC north. Lions were a dismal 2 for 11 on 4th down and had just under 240 yards of total offense.

Lions move to 10-4 while the Vikings fall to 6-8...
