The Denver Nuggets had the perfect game plan and they would have hoped Damian Lillard or LaMarcus Aldridge didn't get hot. Well the Nugs played to the finish but it was too much L-Train and Aldridge went for a season-high 39 points as the Blazers go into the Big 2-Liter the Pepsi Center and cools off those blazin' Nuggets!

Nugs led 31-23 after one and 56-50 at the break only to see L-Train with 26 points at intermission. The Nugs were led by point god Law Dawg Lawson who had a dozen at the break. The Nugs kept the pressure on leading 85-78 after three with L-Train with 30.

The Blazers took the lead in the 4th under four minutes as PG Dame Lillard made a lay-up making it 98-97 Blazers. L-Train would put the Blazers up 103-101 with under two minutes to play only to see the Nugs Arron Affalo tie the game up at 103-103 with a lay up of his own.

Both teams misses shots down the stretch as it was Blazers "Big" Robin Lopez lay up with 1.3 seconds remaining that gave Rip City a 105-103 "W". L-Train gets his game-high 39 on 16 for 30 shooting. Lillard added 17 and Matthews Jr. 15.

The Nugs get game-high 24 points and thirteen assists from Lawson with both Aaron Affalo and Wilson Chandler adding 18 apiece. Blazers move to 14-4 while the Nugs fall to 9-9.
