No Corey Crawford in the "Blue Paint" for the Hawks as through numerous media outlets he will be out two to three weeks due to slipping at a Concert on Concert stairs and please hold on the jokes and vines! All that still didn't matter as Antti Raanta filled in nicely for "Craw-Dad" stopping 40 of 41 Blues SOG for a Hawks 4-1 win.

The Hawks scored three goals in the decisive third frame with the scored deadlocked at 1-1. Hawks Marcus Kruger opened the scoring in period one making it 1-0. The Blues came right back in the 2nd on an Ian Cole goal making it 1-1 at the end of two.

It was a Kris Versteeg score just one minute into the 3rd with two Patrick Kane goals 2:30 minutes apart after Versteeg's goal and Raanta held the Blue Notes in check after that stopping all 15 Blues SOG in the 3rd. Blues net minder Jake Allen stopped 29 of 33 SOG.

Blues out shot the Hawks 41-33 but was also 0-6 on the power play. That is not good coming out of the motel you must capitalize on the man advantages. Raanta moves his 2014-15 w-l to 2-2-0 as the Hawks stay in the red zone winning their 6th game in their last seven.

Kane get goals #11 and #12 to lead the Indian Head on goals for 2014-15. Hawks get the "Flying Frenchmen" on Montreal on Friday at the Madhouse at 8:30pm ET led by Defenseman P.K. Subban.

A huge win for the Hawks as they move within a game of the Blues in the Central...
