The Chicago Bulls needed s statement game at the Madhouse and they get one as they hold off the Portland Trailblazers 115-106 the Northwest division leader. It was a tale of two of the best lead guards in the Logo between Rip City's Dame Lillard and See Red's Derrick Rose.

The Blazers came out firing on all cylinders as All-Star LaMarcus "L-Train" Aldridge went for 21 of his game -high 35 points in the 1st. The 4th belonged to both Lillard and Rose as they traded blow for blow with Lillard scoring 22 of his 35 in the 4th and Rose 16 of his team-high 31 in the 4th. The Bulls hold off the Blazers down the stretch winning 115-106 through the play of both Rose and Brooks as Rip City shoots 50% from the arc (12-24).
