'Jays LHP Mark Buehrle was masterful taming the rays Offense as he goes 8 2/3 innings allowing four hits and striking out eleven Rays Hitters looking in mid-season form. He also had help in Jose Bautista dba "Jose Bats"who went Two Solo Jobs as he as 2 for 3 with two runs and two RBIs.
Buehrle nearly finished the contest as Blue Birds Captain "Save-A-Game" Brett Cecil picks up his first save of 2014. The Rays Starter Matt Moore went 5 2/3 innings allowing six hits and two runs while walking three and striking out four 'Jays. he was also responsible for "Jose Bats" first Solo Tater. The Rays Offense was stifled by Buerhle as Wil Myers went 0-4 and Evan Longoria 1-3 the Rays two Top Run Producers. 'Jays Edwin Encarnacion scored the 3rd run for the 'Jays as he went 1 for 5.
Blue Birds move to 2-1 and the Rays 1-2...as it's early but the 'Jays have a balanced Rotation with a Balance Line Up could this be the Blue Birds Year!
