The 105,000 People that were decked out in Wings Red or Leafs Blue or neutral 2014 Winter Classic Gear got their money's worth as the Leafs and Wings go Three Periods, a five minute extra frame, and than a shootout. Both Goalies played tough through the adverse conditions as the Temps were in the single digits at the start dipping by each period with the winds swirling in the "M Club" Supports You House decked out in 2014 Winter Classic Threads.

Wings 2013 prized Pick-up Daniel Alfredsson started off the festivities in the 2nd frame with a deflection past Leafs Net Minder Jonathan Bernier to make it 1-0 Wings. The Game was scoreless in the 1st period after the Wings dominated the shots on net. The Leafs then get a goal from James van Reimsdyk as wrister within a minute to the end of the 2nd period to tie the score up 1-1 past Wings Net Minder Jimmy Howard.

The Leafs then took a 3-2 lead on Center Tyler Bozak's Goal early in the 3rd as he was the Hero later on this one. The Wings Justin Abdelkader a Michigan Spartan Grad who just loves the Big House and Maize and Blue...Lol...scored with just over five minutes to go to tie the score up at 3-3 as we go into the 5 minute OT.

There was no score in the five minute OT as we moved to a shootout with Wings Pavel Datsyuk and Leafs Joffrey Lupul both scoring in the 2nd round of the shootout. The 3rd and decisive round as was decided by Tyler Bozak who went wrister right pad side past Howard to win ad Wings Tomas Tartar missed the Wings 3rd shot.

The Leafs with the shoot out win move ahead of the Wings by a point 47 to 46 in the new aligned Standings as there are seven teams from 41 points to 47 points battling it out in the East with the Leafs and Wings one and two in that pack.
