The Denver Broncos took control of the game right after the first possession where they had to punt. The New England Patriots didn't get any kind of steam rolling until the 4th frame...Winner...United in Orange.

Manning Mile High was dominant as they hung almost 500 hundred yards of Offense on that Pats D and look at this Drive Chart by the New Orange Crush:

1st Qtr

Broncos FG (10 plays 73 yds)

2nd Qtr

Broncos TD (15 plays 93 yds)

Broncos FG (8 plays 63 yds)

3rd Qtr

Broncos TD (13 plays 80 yds)

4th Qtr

Broncos FG (9 plays 60 yds)

Broncos FG (6 plays 39 yds)

Broncos scored on their first Six out of seven possessions...1st Broncos Drive was a punt...next six drives scores

Pats get a FG in the 1st half 2nd quarter (3pt). They also score in the 4th quarter two TDs and one with an Extra Point and the other a failed two point conversion (13 pts) for a total of 16 points.

Time of Possession was key as the Broncos were 36 minutes to Pats 24 minutes....

Broncos Players of the Game:

QB Manning Mile High 32/43 for 400 yds 2 TD 0 INTs
WR D. Thomas 7 Pigs 134 yds TD
TE J. Thomas 8 Pigs 85 yds

Broncos put up a net 500 plus yards as the Pats put up just over 300 yards and the majority of that was in the 4th and final frame.

Thomas and Thomas were a huge factor as the Pats Backers, CBs, and Safeties had no answer for either player all day long.

It came down to the Trenches and the Broncos D-Line got after Brady. The Broncos O-Line kept Manning clean and that was your ball game.

Thumbs up to Broncos D-Coordinator Jack Del Rio as his "D" was magnificent in stopping the Pats Offense for three frames...that was huge with all those key injuries you wouldn't know it!

Brady 24/38 for 277 yds and a TD as the Pats "D" could not get Manning off the field and that had nothing to do with Tom Terrific...

Congrats to the 2013 AFC Champion Denver Broncos...and good luck in Bog Bowl 48!
