The Ducks come in atop Ice Games in 2013-14 with a robust 38-10-5 (81 pts) W-L Record and on a current streak of 8-2. They are led by Team Canada's Ryan Getzlaf (59 pts) and Corey Perry (56 pts). Ducks Net Minder Jonas Hiller has been outstanding in 2013-14 with a 23-6-4 W-L Record and 17th out of 30 in G.A.A. at 2.41. The Ducks beat the Kings two night ago 2-1 and they are currently the #1 Team by Record in the NHL ahead of the 2012-13 Stanley Cup Winning Chicago Blackhawks who is sitting at 76 pts.

The Kings beat the Ducks in the 1st meeting 3-2 in a Shootout after losing two nights ago. They bring in Ice Games #6 W-L Record in the West and #9 overall. The Kings are led by Slovenian Center Anze Kopitar (41 pts) and Defenseman and Team USA Member Dustin Brown (16 pts) as well as Center Mike Richards. Net Minder and Team USA Goalie Jonathan Quick who sat out all of December with an injury is 14-8-2 with a 2.09 G.A.A.. The Kings need to get on their horse as we hit the Sochi 2014 Winter Games Break and they need some separation.
