The Kansas Jayhawks hang on to get a 80-78 "W" over the Oklahoma State Cowboys at Phog Allen Fieldhouse on the Campus of Kansas University Saturday Afternoon. It was the coming out party for the Logo's #1 Overall Prospect in the 2014 NBA Draft in Cameroon's Joel Embiid. The 7-Footer did not disappoint as the Kayhawks get a surprise performance from Lead Guard Naadir Tharpe as well.

Embiid and Tharpe led the Jayhawks to a 47-30 halftime lead as the Cowboys struggled to deal with the presence of Embiid in the Paint. The Cameroonian messed around and almost got a Triple-Double with 13 points, grabbing eleven Oranges, and swatting nine Nike Game Performance Basketball's on his way to another highlight reel and there is  no doubt he is Dikembe Mutumbo of Hoya Pararnoia just way more athletic with a bigger upside than "Deke". Tharpe added 21 points and waited on six Jayhawk Tables and in those 21 points nine of that was via the Money Ball. All-Hype Team Freshman Andrew Wiggins disappeared again staying away from the fray as he gets a poultry three points on 1 of 5 from the line.

The Cowboys to their credit made it a game behind Flower Mound, Texas Marcus HS Duo Marcus Smart and Phil Forte III. Smart like Embiid messed around and almost got a Triple Double as well with 16 points, ten Oranges he grabbed, nine helpers, and four thefts as his Floor Game has NBA Execs drooling with a Blue-Collar Mentality and Five-Star Game. Forte added seven Money Balls for 23 points as they single-handily kept Team T. Boone Pickens U in the Ball Game. Cowboys other Stars Markel Borwn (15 pts) and LeBryan Nash (10 pts) were saddled with foul trouble throughout and played sparingly.

Rock Chalk moves to 13-4 and 4-0 in the extremely talented Big 12 while the Cowboys fall to 15-3 but just 3-2 in conference play.
