Ok they out bid the Cubbies, Pale Hose, M's, and Boys from Chavez Ravine and did you expect anything different. The Yanks are in desperate measures as they had to get an Arm even though that Arm is an unknown commodity to have any chance in the AL East and on the Junior Circuit.

The Bidding War goes to the Bronx Bombers for Masahiro Tanaka for a whopping seven-year $155 Million Deal that includes an 2017 Opt Out that will still cost the Yanks some $88 Million if he so chooses that route. He will most likely be penciled in right behind Yanks Ace of Jordan Brand C.C. Sabathia in that 2014 Opening Day Rotation.

The Yankees better be hoping he is closer to Rangers Yu "I will survive" Darvish than Hiroki Kuroda and Daisuke Matsuzaka. Not saying Kuroda and Matsuzaka are not solid MLB Pitchers they are not one or two in your Rotation. For $22 million over 162 games he needs to be at least a #2 and we will find out shortly.

360 Degrees....The NFL and NBA has a Salary Cap and the Show needs one yesterday...real talk!
