The Houston Rockets knew they would have to come out and play like Champions as they were meeting a team that has beat the Spurs and Mavs on Back to Back Night and look to have that winning Texas Triangle Recipe.

The Rip City Blazers didn't know what hit them then when they looked up it was too late. Behind a 71-56 lead at the break and a 35-35 draw in the 3rd frame the Rocket had more than enough firepower on this night to beat the Rip City Blazers handily 126-113. Chandler Parsons led the Rockets with 31 points, ten boards, and seven helpers  as "Dwight of Three Stripes" (24 pts 12 rebs) and James Harden (22 pts 6 rebs) negated anything the Blazers had out there on the hardwood.  Clutch City shot 16 of 33 from the Arc and had a 52-37 rebounding advantage.

The Blazers dug themselves a huge hole and against a Team as explosive on Offense running on all Cylinders like the Rockets...in the end it was just too much to overcome. The L-Train still dropped 27 points and grabbed twenty Oranges. PG Damian Lillard added 24 points while Wes Matthews chipped in with 18. The Blazers didn't rebound the Orange and was -24 points from the "Land of Plenty".

That Blazers loss stops a nice Win Streak for Rip City as they fall into a tie with OKC at 31-10. The Rockets move to 28-15 and as they position themselves right into the Elite Pack in the West.
