What is the Record of a Sunday Team that is averaging 27.5 pts (10th) 401.5 Total Yards (8th) and 320.8 Passing Yds (3rd) Record? Before you say the Answer that same Team on Defense is giving up 32.5 Pts (29th)  463 Total Yds (32nd) and 186.8 Rushing Yds. and who is this Team?

The Team is the 0-4 Saints who if they stopped People half of the Time with that still Prolific Offense would be at least 2-2 if not 3-1. Now they have a familiar Face coming back Home on a Game Visit to see if QB Drew Brees can break Johnny Unitas' Consecutive Games Streak for throwing a TD pass at 48 Straight Games. Having said all that Cosmetically the Saints Issues are with that Defense and New D-Coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.

BOLTS @ GEAUX Saints Game Preview

The Bolts know that the Offense can move the Ball on the Saints but can they add to that #32 Ranked Run  Defense and put up close 190 Yards on the Ground. If the Bolts can do that with Phillip and his Arsenal of Weapons on the Outside the Bolts walks away scot-free and with a W. The Bolts Game Plan is a Heavy Dose of Jackie Battle and Ryan Mathews with an App of #85 Gates and former Saints WR Robert Meacham and Malcolm Floyd getting a Few Grabs to soften a Secondary that is Suspect at the Corners.

The Bolts Defense will be ready to contain Brees but not stop him. Big Red TE Jimmy Graham will be Highlighted by the Bolts LBs as well as WR Marquis Colston. Brees needs to use the Run Game a little more so that the Bolts D doesn't drop 6-7 or even 8 in Pass Coverage.

The Saints have to get RBs Ingram, Thomas, and Sproles involved in some sort of Run Game even if it is Cosmetics. They are way too Pass-Oriented and that has put too much of the Game on Brees and the Passing Game. If they can Run the Pigskin a little the Bolts will have to account for that and it would open their Passing Game a little more.

Defensively they have to Stop the Run Game of the Bolts. Saints come in ranked #32 in the League giving up some 185 yards plus per Outing is not going to get you anything on Sunday but L's. Until the Saints commit fully to stopping the Run that Secondary will pay for the Passing Game and anything else running down field.

The Bolts know if they do what they are suppose to do it would be a Easy Win. The Saints one would  think can't go back to the Brown Paper Bags right.  Meet Me in the Middle for this one....

Winner: SAINTS 38-23 as Brees with Sean Peyton in the Stands puts on a Prime Time Show...sing it Faith Hill
