When Eagles QB Mike Vick fumbled the Pigskin in the Steelers End Zone I said to myself that play will give the Eagles an L. The Steelers played somewhat not Conservative but didn't make enough Plays to make the Eagles Play. In the End the Black and Yellow get a much-needed and Hard fought 16-14 Win.

The Name of the Week 5 Game vs Eagles...Deeeeeeeee-Fense and they showed up playing Steeler Football until that last Eagles Drive that went for Six. The Steelers D...3 Red Jerseys, 4 Forced Fumbles, and held Eagles RB Shady McCoy in check for the most part with 53 Yards on 16 Totes. Eagles QB Mike Vick did his thing in the 2nd Half as the 1st Half was a wash for #7 from the Newport News Virginia Area. Vick threw for 175 and completed 20 of 30 and put 2 in the Steelers End Zone.

Big Ben played well and left at least 4-5 Scores out there missing Wallace and Heeeeeeeath in the Flat on Two Occasions. Ben was 21 for 37 and 207 Yards but No TDs in the Eagles End Zone. RB Shard Mendenhall (pictured at NFL Combine in 2008) got that Steelers Run Game going with a Shard-Like Effort with 81 Yards on 14 Carries and they were Big-Time Runs most of them. The Steelers topped 100 Yards Rushing for the 1st Time in 2012 with a combined 136 Yards.

Now the Steelers go off on a Short Week with a Trip to OPRYland USA and the Music City Contingent this Thursday October 11. CJ28 will be waiting but not that 2009 CJ28...the 2K12 CJ28 that seems to be running like he is carrying a New Contract and the New Contract is weighing on hi literally and figuratively speaking.

Steelers were only 1 for 4 in the Red Zone and they must get 7's rather than 3's to be a Super Bowl 47 Contender. Steelers move to 2-2 and the Eagles move to 3-2 tied with the NY Football Giants.

Steelers OLB LaMaar Woodley of Brand Jordan and SS Troy Polamalu of Nike Football both went out with Injuries and Wood is reportedly a Hamstring and Troy is the Same Calf Muscle that kept him out of 2 Games before the Bye Week. They have to be Doubtful on a Short Week one would think.
