SUNDAY TALK AFC WEST 1st Quarter Report....PEYTON goes under .500 through 5...BOLTS have No LIGHTNING and never do...RAIDERS on the ROAD have a Black Hole in their Play....CHIEFS have Two Personalties and right now it's the Bad Side...Its up for GRABS in the AFC West.

Everyone thought since Peyton Manning was in the Division that the AFC West was almost certainly going to be Orange Crush all the way. The Bolts have played well but we have been seeing this for some 5 seasons plus. Raiders are a Tough Out in the Black Hole but on the Road Chevy Chase and National Lampoon's Silver & Black Vacation. The Chiefs have all this Talent and Cassell has struggled and the Defense is starting to play like the End of 2011.

AFC West 1st Quarter Outlook...

BOLTS 3-2
Broncos 2-3
Raiders 1-3
Chiefs 1-4

The Bolts have played like they are suppose to play but they lose in NOLA on Sunday Night when they should have closed the Saints out. I still don't understand why they have had the Same Regime for so long when its not going to work. Denver is up Next and we will see who really wants the AFC West. Bolts FS Eric Weddle (pictured from the U of U in Salt Lake UT) is the Leader of that Defense and their leading Playmaker.

The Broncos started off like they were being anointed the AFC Champions. Then the Texans out Reality in them and the Falcons put Reality on them. Peyton Manning is getting in sync but do they really have the Horses to get to that AFC Wild West. We won't know that answer until Week 16 as the West will take that long to win. They need suspended MLB DJ Williams ASAP to make that Orange Crush more Crush-ier.  (DJ and College Teammate Vilma suspended at the Same Time under Commish Roger I bet they just love that Dude)

The Silver and Black play well on the Road but they are a Work in Progress as even the Above Average Teams play well enough to win at least 4 games on the Road. They also have not had a Good Dose of RB Run DMC-Fadden. Who knows what's wrong with him and McFadden and College Teammate Felix Jones must have majored in Home Economics at Arkansas as they are as Soft as Baked Goods. The Offense has to get on the Level of the Defense and they need to concentrate better on the Road.

The Chiefs are Jekyll-Hyde or Bipolar or they just play when they want to. RB Jamaal Charles aka the Arrowhead Beast has been Magnificent as he leads Sunday Tackle Football in Rushing. QB Cassel is just like Sanchez and what is it with these Men of Troy QBs. Don't touch Matt Barkley he looks like a Cross between Sanchez, Todd Marinovich, and Matt Leinart. In Totality that will get you Sunday Checks but not Sunday Royalty. The Chiefs need their Offense to step up and start making Plays. WR D-Bowe has played well and its like he is playing for a New Contract...or is he?
