He would have thought with a rail-thin frame that a 6'7" Shooting Guard out of PAC-10 Powerhouse the UCLA Bruins would become a dominant force in the LOGO.

For one his Big Sis Cheryl MILLER, who to this day is the BADDEST Chic on the hardwood for the Women's Game ever that includes all the great ones young and old, was better than lil bro Reggie was and more physical.

Reggie coming out of Riverside, California wasn't the most highly-touted player in the L.A. Area and CHERYL was more heavily recruited than Reggie was. He accepted a Scholarship to then UCLA BRUINS where his game took off.  He went from a virtually unknown commodity to leaving UCLA still holding several records and is 2nd ONLY to the great Kareem Abdul-JABBAR at UCLA for most points in a career.

The #11 overall Pick in the 1987 Draft Reggie and the PACERS following was sure that INDIANA HOOSIERS Star G Steve ALFORD was going to be the pick and no you know the rest of the story. Ask the DALLAS MAVERICKS and former MAVS Owner Donald CARTER how ALFORD turned out. I don't think Steve ever got his own locker in BIG D.

Reggie came into the PACERS when they had Auburn's Chuck PERSON aka the Rifleman. It took #31 some getting used to the NBA Game but drafting Rik SMITS of MARIST aka the Flying DUTCHMAN in the 1988 Draft helped a lot.

MILLER played under Dr. Jack RAMSAY, Dick VERSACE, Larry BROWN (where #31 had his most productive years), as well as Larry BIRD who under the BIRD Watch the PACERS went to the 2000 NBA FINALS and lost to the LAKERS.

#31 the player wasn't the most gifted ball-handler but he made moving without the ball an ART FORM on the LOGO Level. No one to this day ever moved more fluid with purpose off the ball than Reggie MILLER. In the 1990's with he and the Flying DUTCHMAN, who the BLUEDUDE has in his Top Duo's in the 90s in the NBA, MILLER and a ball player named Michael Jeffrey JORDAN took more big game shots than anyone in the LOGO and they were the 2 most feared SNIPERS in the LOGO at the time.  I still think the great MARV-elous-1 ALBERT coined the phrase...a DAGGER (referring to that SHOT that gets an NBA Team the sure win or stops a run or gives you the lead) from MILLER TIME #31 in Market Square Arena and Conseco Fieldhouse. The closest thing to #31 in the logo the last 10 years was a healthy RIP Hamilton and how he moves without the ball and the physical build of RIP resembles MILLER TIME.

Reggie is one of the newest members of the NBA Hall Of Fame as of April 1, 2012. The induction Ceremony will be in August but so well deserved to me the GREATEST Indiana PACER and no slight to the great Mel DANIELS, Roger BROWN, and/or George McGINNIS.

The VITALS for MILLER TIME on the LOGO Level:

1996 Olympic Gold Medal
5x NBA All-Star
#31 retired by INDIANA PACERS
3x All-NBA 3rd Team
18 year NBA Career
18.2 ppg Scoring Avg.

2nd in 3pt FG's MADE (2,560) SUGAR RAY of the C's #1

25,279 points ranks him 14th ahead of the LOGO Jerry WEST

What's rare as we get to some of the PLAYERS the BLUEDUDE grew up admiring is that a lot of them played with the same team their whole career and the way things are set up with FREE AGENCY in the LOGO now it is virtually impossible.

MILLER TIME joins 11 others voted into the NAISMITH Basketball Hall Of Fame most notable Coach Don "NELLIE" NELSON, Ralph SAMPSON, Hank NICHOLS, and Jamaal WILKES.

CONGRATS to Reggie MILLER, the MILLER Family, and the Indiana PACERS Family for their greatest getting in and the BLUEDUDE's All-Time Top 10 NBA Players.

REGGIE.....REGGIE...REGGIE....REGGIE.....Mr. CLUTCH aka MILLER TIME #31...now we can put him in the SUB-ZERO...Freezer that is.
