As a professional athlete the initial thought process is either I won't be here for long or I will be here forever. There is no middle ground when entering that ballpark.....none.

After 21 Seasons and a HOF Type Career as one of the best Backstops in MLB is hanging it up after not getting a call in the 2012 MLB Spring Training.

Texas Rangers C Ivan "PUDGE" Rodriguez decides to hang it up as a Ranger after 21 seasons an his last season last year with the NATS of the Nations Capital. Pudge will be remembered as a perennial All-Star and a measuring stick for Backstops in the 90s and 2ks.

He won the Junior Circuit MVP in 1999 and was a 14-time All-Star with 11 seasons with the Rangers and 5 seasons with the Detroit Tigers. Pudge also had stops in 305, the Bombers, Nats, and Stros. Pudge will always be remembered as a RANGER as he made his debut back in 1991 with the Rangers.

Bad News coming out of GIANTS Camp.....Closer extraordinaire Brian Wilson and the GIANTS have announced that he will be having season-ending Tommy John Surgery.

What does this mean for the Giants moving forward. That 5-Star Rotation that they have has even more pressure on getting even deeper into games. The Gigantes will probably go Bullpen by committee and then wait to see what is out there come MLB Trade Deadline.
