If you don't know about Chicago's Neal F. SIMEON HS you will soon after reading this post on perhaps the Best HS Player ever out of the Windy City. At 6-8 and 220 el bees of athlete mixed in with a hoops IQ off the charts.....Junior Small Forward Jabari Parker has officially entered uncharted water at least chartered by a select few.

Last Week on April 13, 2012 Parker received the Gatorade National Player of the Year for Boys Basketball from 1988 Big Mac Alonzo Mourning who knows is a VP of the Miami Heat.

Parker also led his team to the 2011-12 Illinois State Champion for the 3rd consecutive time and Parker has one more year left. He beat a game Proviso East HS Squad that came in the State Championship game that came in 32-0 and Parker and his Simeon Wolverines were 32-1 as well and their only loss was a 25 point spanking earlier in the year to Nevada Powerhouse Findlay Prep led by two Top 20 Players themselves in the Class of 2012.

Parker on every ones list and it includes the likes of Duke, UNC, Kansas, BYU, Northwestern, Michigan State, and Kentucky among others will most likely decide before his senior season.

Averaging 20ppg, 9 boards, 5 helpers, 4 no-no's and 2 thefts...Parker will be on the wall at Neal F. Simeon HS with the likes of the WEST SIDE STORY Report's AdiZERO HERO Derrick Rose, former 1st ever Orlando Magic Draft pick Nick Anderson, the late great Benji Wilson, LOB City's Bobby Simmons, and former Illinois Star Bryant Notree.

Simeon was and still is a factory and the keys have been left to now Coach Robert Smith from the late great Bob Hambric. Smith has only changed one thing to what Coach Hambric never allowed at Simeon....Freshman Players on Varsity and that started with D-Rose.

As for Jabari, who is a Bible Study Member of the Church of Jesus-Christ Latter Day Saints, the accolades keep coming as he is also top 20 in a class of nearly 400 students and is a role model throughout the community. Dad Sonny Parker was a Chicago Hoops Legend in his own right and now runs the Sonny Parker Youth Foundation located on North Michigan Avenue...Chicago, Illinois.

As we anxiously await Parker's College decision there will be a busy summer for Every body's All-American as you can imagine. First up is keeping on Julius Randle of Prestonwood Academy Plano, Texas from getting that NUMBER 1 SPOOOOOT.

Great post. Not to be picky but you truncated the name of Jabari's church. He's a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
