NCAA FOOTBALL Week 8 Power Rankings....CLEMSON dodges a Bullet...WOLVERINES get 1st LOSS...Illinois can't handle Expectations

A wild week in NCAA College FOOTBALL this past SATURDAY. One thing is for sure...the USUAL SUSPECTS held serve and the wannabes are still trying to get to the TOP.

The WOLVERINES and Fighting ILLINI couldn't handle being undefeated and both lose BIG 10 Conference games. CLEMSON spots the Fighting' TURTLES of MARYLAND 35 and then decides to get the XBOX 360 Controls out to win 56-45 in a wild ACC Tilt.

We will have some movement and the BLUEDUDE'S SPORTSTALK BST POll (BCS POLL) will be unveiled next week and their are only 8 TEAMS that can get into the BST Bowl Games so we are officially in CRUNCH TIME.

the NCAA FOOTBALL WEEK 8 Power Rankings:

1. LSU (1) 7-0: Went to Rocky Top Tennessee and took care of BUSINESS....the trip to TUSCALOOSA is looming

2. ALABAMA (3) 7-0: Gave OLE MISS a Good OLE A** WHIPPIN' and NOVEMBER 5th and LSU is almost here

3. OKLAHOMA (2) 6-0: Went to LAWRENCE and beat the BREAKS off ROCK CHALK like expected

4. OKLAHOMA STATE (4) 6-0: Went to UT AUSTIN and HOOKED THE HORNS and that OU Game might be the Ultimate Test

5. BOISE STATE (5) 6-0: Running through the Fort Collins and COLORADO STATE....a BCS Bid is definitely in the CARDS

6. WISCONSIN (6) 6-0: Beating the HOOSIERS and doing what they are suppose to do....QB RUSSELL WILSON for DOWNTOWN ATHLETIC CLUB?

7. CLEMSON (9) 7-0: A COMEBACK for the Ages in College Park Maryland....Maybe runs the ACC Table..then WHAT?

8. STANFORD (7) 6-0: Beat WASHINGTON STATE but the JURY still out on ARE THEY BCS WORTHY?

9. OREGON (8) 5-1: Beat a tough Arizona STATE now MEN of TROY and HARVARD of the WEST stand in their way

10. ARKANSAS (13) 6-1: Ran past the WAR EAGLES of AUBURN..should be in the RUNNING for a BCS Bid if things fall their way

11. MICHIGAN STATE (NR) 6-1: SPARTY is back in the building and the WOLVERINES were out muscled and outplayed

12. KANSAS STATE (15) 6-0: Bill SNYDER and the CATS enjoy this because both OU and OK STATE as well as TEXAS and TX A&M are still on the SCHEDULE.....see you in the HOLIDAY BOWL in DIEGO

13. WEST VIRGINIA (NR) 6-1: QB Geno SMITH and the O continue to put up SERIOUS POINTS

14. NEBRASKA (14) 5-1: IDLE last week

15. SOUTH CAROLINA (NR) 6-1: Just got by MISSISSIPPI ST.....they still have PIG SOOIE and RIVAL Death VALLEY ORANGE on the Schedule
