WEEK 6 and we have a good old-fashion AFC Throwback in what used to be a THORN in the SIDE of the STEELERS. The JAGS are in town and they come in 1-4 and a COACH on the Wood-Burning STOVE in Jack Del RIO.

The STEELERS are coming off of an impressive W as they beat the then 3-1 TITANS who came into HEINZ with a little momentum. The STEELERS Offense seems to be starting to CLICK and that is BAD NEWS for Opponents especially the JAGS.

Look for JAGS 1-MAN Gang Maurice JONES-DREW aka POCKET HERCULES to have his imprint on the Offensive Game plan but look who is at the CONTROLS for the JAGS. Rookie QB and Ex-MIZZOU TIGER Blaine GABBERT will be under CENTER for the JAGS. He looked at the GAME FILM of the STEELERS Defense and he gets his FIRST.... FAT....Football Aptitude Test...the 3-4 ZONE BLITZ Edition. And studies have shown NO ONE Passes this exam the first couple times through. Good LUCK GABBERT and wear extra PADS and put a REAR-View Mirror on your blind spots.

Remember last week the BLUEDUDE went through the LAUNDRY List of Problems the STEELERS were having going into the GAME vs the TITANS. Well they haven't all been fixed but we looked like we got the PLUMBING Straight and we are working on the Kitchen Appliances them being the OFFENSIVE Line.

With BIG BEN throwing 5 TD Passes and the Ground Game getting over 170 Yards without MENDENHALL all that points into the right direction as the STEELERS O can be explosive. #86 getting into the ACT as well as STEADY EDDY in DA KID Mike WALLACE #17, who looks like he is headed to his 1st of many future PRO BOWLS, has the STEELERS FANS optimistic about the direction we are heading.

It doesn't make any sense to be peaking in OCTOBER rather than in late December into JANUARY.....RIGHT?

the SKINNY: the STEELERS need to take care of a wounded bunch who is on the cusp of getting a high draft pick and losing a HEAD COACH. Therefore the STEELERS need to come out like GANG Busters and let POCKET HERCULES and GABBERT know it's going to be one of them afternoons and you should have stayed your A** in J'VILLE.

NOTE: Look for RBs REDMAN and DWYER to get plenty of action especially in short YARDAGE....which should give u some QUALITY Depth in the RUN GAME Moving forward.....IF YOU WILL.

GO STEELERS NATION as we are 1-0 in the 2nd Quarter of the Season and we need to take it up notch as the SCHEDULE is favorable down the stretch but have 2 BIG ONES later this month in the RAVENS and PATS both at HOME. Those 2 games will TELL the TALE as all games in the NFL are BIG GAMES......throw your TERRIBLE TOWEL UP.
