A nip and tuck affair as the Houston Rockets might have finally found common ground and how they need to go about business in the 82-game trek. It was only a matter of games and time and when you have the reigning NBA M.V.P. James Harden your always going to have a chance.

Speaking of "Fear the Beard" #13 and his 41 points and seven assists with six boards it was the other Rocket starters that made the difference. Clint Capela took the glass with him grabbing some 23 boards and adding 16 points for Biggie-Sized double-double. Eric Gordon chipped in with 17 points and Sneaker had "Tuck" quietly went 11 points and seven boards. I was more impressed with Houston's "D" holding the Regulators to just 44% shooting and 9 for 30 from Sugarland, Texas,

The Regulators O.K.C. were led by Paul George's team-high 28 points and fourteen boards with Russ adding 21 points, nine boards and nine helpers just missing a triple-double. It was Jerami Grant's play late in the the 4th that kept the Thunder afloat but it was too much Austin Rivers from the Rockets.

The newly-acquired Rivers hit two huge money balls late and two free throws that cemented the game for Houston as they move to 18-15. The Regulators report O.K.C. falls to 21-12...
