Look what the win blew into the Windy City as the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field as we go to press is laying out the Ground Work or Blueprint for one Manny Machado to play home games on 35th and Shield off the Dan Ryan Expressway.
Machado among the top 2 MLB Free Agents this off-season that is not on the "Bump" (Former Nats OF Bryce Harper #1) would turn any franchise around and if the Pale Hose could somehow convince him to play on the South Side it would be a huge get for a franchise that has a farm system that is among the best. Now the question remains does Manny want to be the center piece for a team that would be on the rise or play for team that would plug n play "M2" and he would be the final piece to that puzzle to getting them over the top?

What Salary would "M2" command from the Sox if he were to sign I am thinking in the ballpark of $35-$40 million per 162 for over at least 5 to 6 seasons with a player Option on the last season. That's just hypothetically speaking as he might want long-term to 120 months or even shorter than that at 48-60 months.
Manny and his Team must ask themselves to we go in a "Piece" to the already put together puzzle or the "Piece" as everything will be centered around me. From hearing on how Manny operates I don't think he is ready to be the "Guy" way too much responsibility for him and don't kill the messenger that has been well-documented.
