A game where both LeBron James and Anthony Davis were both under the weather came down to the all important pace and what side kicks wanted to be in a leading role. Los Angeles with their Rotations figured out and Schematically things falling into place just was too much for a Pelicans Team without Nikola Mirotic isn't deep enough!
Tonight it was King James seemingly in control the entire night dropping off 14 assists with a dozen boards and 22 points. Kyle Kuzma added 23 points with Brandon Ingram 18 points and seven boards as they get "Big" Ivica Zubac with his first start of the 2k18-19 season going double double with 16 points and eleven boards. Big Baller Brand PG Zo Ball added a dozen as well as it was in the Lakers hands all game long.
Davis had a game-high 30 points with twenty boards and five helpers as former Lakers Lottery Pick Julius Randle added 21 points an eight boards with his first visit back to Staples since leaving. Jrue Holiday had a solid game considering what he means defensively with 18 points and ten helpers as he was guarding everyone from Zo to LeBron and all in between.
Pels shot just 8 for 16 from the stripe with Lakers 18 for 25...
Lakers move to 19-13 while the Pels fall to 15-18...
Look the "Brow" might be leaving but if your the Lakers do you part with these young dynamic pieces in Kuz and Ingram let alone Hart and Zo'...I would not!
