The Chicago Blackhawks go down towards the end of regulation but not after a Hooking Penalty called on Hawks Captain Serious Jonathan Toews that put Washington on the Power Play for the remainder of regulations.

It was a broken stick on a shot by Caps Captain and Russian Hockey Royalty Alex Ovechkin as Brouwer gets the puck on a 180 degree turn and wrist one right past Hawk net minder Corey Carwford with "Craw-Dad" having a good sight line as it appeared he just missed the frozen one.

The Game started in the Caps favor as they scored the first two goals in the 1st for a "Caps" 2-0 lead. Eric Fehr score on a wrister for the 1-0 lead and Ovechkin scored on a wrister for the 2-0 lead for Washington.

The Hawks came right back in the 1st with a Patrick Sharp slapshot making it 1-2 after one. Just three minutes and some change into the 2nd frame the Hawks Brandon Saad scores on a wrister for a 2-2 tie. That would be all the scoring until Brouwer's game-winner in the 3rd.

Both team shot 35 times with the both teams scoring on the power play once. Craw-Dad stopped 32-35 SOG with Caps net minder Braden Holtby stopping 33 -35 SOG.

The Indian Head falls to 25-11-2 with 52 points still in 1st place in the Central. The Caps move to 19-11-7 with 45 points and 3rd in the Metro.

Next up for the Indian Head the Dallas Stars on Sunday January 4, 2015 at the Madhouse at 8pm ET...
