In a game that had some serious peaks and valleys the Chicago Blackhawks make it seven wins in their last eight and they needed every tick of the clock to do it! Hawks net minder Antti Raanta has been straight margarine in net and he would get tested versus a solid Habs Bunch led by former Norris Trophy winner P.K. Subban.

The Hawks started off on the right foot as Michal Rozsival scored barley two minutes in making it 1-0 Hawks. Ben Smith followed suit with under two minutes remaining in period one making it 2-0 Hawks. The night looked like it was going to be a fun one for the Indian Head.

It was a Brendan Gallagher slapper past Raanta just thirty seconds after Smith's goal by the Habs making it 2-1 after one. The Habs used that momentum  to get a Sergei Gonchar slapper a nearly eight minutes into frame two for a 2-2 tie. Then it was Subban doing what he does slapping one past Raanta with 2:30 remaining in the 2nd for a Habs 3-2 lead.

The Indian Head though running on all cylinders of late gets a Captain Serious (#11 of 2014) wrister not even five minutes into frame three tying the score at 3-3. Then with everyone standing at the "Madhouse on Madison" the hawks blow United Airlines rook off the place!

Brandon Saad gets a Wrister past the Habs Carey Price with just 27 seconds remaining in the game for a Hawks win 4-3! Price stopped 32 of 36 SOG. Raanta halted 38 of 41 SOG as both played outstanding.

Le Bleu-Blanc-Rouge was 1 for 3 on the PP with the Indian Head 1 for 5. The Hawks needed that moving into 2nd in the Central and facing the Central leading Preds of Music City on Saturday Night in Nashville. Hawks at 35 points as the Habs stay at 36 points and #2 in the Atlantic behind the Bolts of Tampa with 39 points.
