Just like that and who needs Blackhawks net minder Corey "Craw-Dad" Crawford when you have Scott Darling and Antti Raanta going "Fear the Indian Head in the Blue Paint" two-pack. The Hawks go into the "Madhouse in the Southeast" and takes it right to then the first place Nashville Predators for a 3-1 win moving the Hawks into sole possession of first place in the Central.

The Indian Head got on the board first with a Brandon Saad score in period one making it 1-0 Hawks. The Hawks continues their stellar defensive play and timely goal scoring in the 2nd with a Marian Hossa score not even three minutes into 2nd for a Hawks 2-0 lead.  Hawks net minder and Chicago, Illinois area native Scott Darling was on his game cruising after two halting 20 of 20 SOG.

Then in the 3rd the Preds got a little "Mo" scoring just 34 seconds into frame three making it 2-1 Hawks on a Colin Wilson goal. The Hawks would rely from there on more defense and gets a Marian Hossa empty netter at the 18:49 mark sealing the Hawks win and them moving into 1st place in the central.

Darling stopped 32 of 33 SOG with Preds net minder Pekka Rinne stopping 28 of 30 SOG. Hawks move to 18-8-1 with 37 points leading both the Preds and Blue Notes as they have 36 points apiece.

The Indian Head will continue it's four game Motel swing in New Jersey vs the "Devs" on Tuesday December 9 and then the "Spokes" on December 11th with the Isles on December 13th before getting back to the Madhouse for the Flames of Calgary on December 14th.
