The Kentucky Wildcats superb first half vaults them into a 84-70 win over the North Carolina Tar Heels in Lexington, Kentucky. The 'Cats displaying that interior defense as well as defense on the perimeter held the 'Heels to 45% from the field and forced 19 turnovers.

The 'Cats led by a balanced attack of with Willie Cauley-Stein and Devin Booker with 15 points each and Aaron Harrison adding 14. Cauley-Stein dominated as he also had six boards and four steals as UK shot nearly 57% and half of those baskets were Nerf-Rim quality.

UNC led by Brice Johnson's 15 points and PG Marcus Paige with 14 points never go the lead within five points. Paige did shoot 4 for 6 from the arc as the 'Heels out rebounded the 'Cats 31-24. UK's Bench out scored Carolina's 33-19 and that was the deciding factor in the game.

UK moves to 11-0 while the 'Heels fall to 6-3...
