The Phoenix Suns came into the game versus the San Antonio Spurs in the #7 slot and they leave the Alamo City in the #9 slot as the Memphis Grizzlies pass them. The Spurs tending to Spurs Business as usual get a big night from for former UNC Standout Danny Green dba D.G. of AT&T.

The Suns give PG Goran Dragic a DNP Coach's Decision as Eric Bledsoe and Gerald Green were bringing it. The Suns came out firing leading 37-24 after one and 62-49 at the break. Now knowing the importance of the game the Suns knew the Spurs were coming and could they stop them. The Spurs go on a 30-16 run to take the lead late in the 3rd 79-78 as Green and Kawhi Leonard do what they do. Spurs then take the lead 86-81 after three on a Green Lay-up and a Belinelli Money Ball. The Suns to their credit came back ion the 4th behind Markus Morris as the game was tied 95-95 with just under six minutes to play. The Spurs pulled away behind Leonard, Green, and Belinelli Money Balls to make the score 106-100 Spurs as they go onto win 112-104.

Bledsoe missed a Triple-Double with 30 points, eleven boards, and nine helpers. Green his Partner in Crime went or 27 points with Markus Morris adding 20 points and seven boards. Green carried the Spurs with 33 points including 7 of 10 from deep. Both Leonard and Tony Parker added 18 points each as San Antonio notches win #62. Phoenix now has to win their head to heads with both the Mavs and Grizzlies to get into Winning Time.
