The Blackhawks stayed thew course after the St. Louis Blues struck in the first on a Jaden Schwartz Wrister not even two minutes in to make it 1-0 Blues as Hawks Nation had to be thinking c'mon now Corey Carwford dba "Craw-Dad".
To the Hawks Credit as they make even more strides playing without Captain Serious and "Kaner 88" they get a Jeremy Morin Wrister off of a Bryan Bickell shot to make it 1-1. Then the most important goal was Morin leading a 2 on 1 as he finds "Sharpie #10" for his 33rd goal of 2013-14 (leads the Blackhawks with both Kane and Toews at 28 goals) to make it 2-1 Hawks with 33 seconds left in the 2nd period.
"Fear the Indian Head" took a 3-1 lead not even a minute into the 3rd on a Markus Kruger Wrister to make it 3-1 Hawks. The Hawks then played Hawks-Like Winning Time Hockey the rest of the way until the Blues Vladimir Sobotka "Lights the Lamp" with under three minutes to go to make it 3-2 Hawks. Ben Smith with the Blues Net empty hits the Empty Net to make it 4-2 with just four seconds remaining to ice the game.
The Hawks out shoot the Blues 34-23 as Craw-Dad (31-15-10) stopped 21 of 23 and Blues Net Minder Brian Elliott stopped 31 of 34. The Hawks with 103 points moves to 44-19-15 as they are 4th in the West trailing the Avs (106 pts) by three points in the Division and the Blues (111 pts) by eight points.
