The game was a street fight as both teams were somewhat evenly matched as it came down to Strategy, Execution, and Game Planning. If a Cat has Nine Lives the Kentucky Wildcats have used eight and is now running on fumes. Wisconsin's PG Traevon Jackson had a good look at the buzzer but it banked off the glass and rim as UK wins 74-73.

The 'Cats shot 50% fro the field with Wisconsin shooting at 46%. For UK they were led by Freshman James Young's 17 points as other Freshman and Dallas, Texas Native Julius Randle added 16 points and five boards. The Harrison Twins not having their best shooting night (7-22 FG) made he necessary plays down the stretch in crunch time to seal the game.  The young 'Cats only turned the Orange over four times...four. Alex Poythress' 8 points and seven boards including a Hammer over Dekker and a Lob that appeared nearly impossible to catch stole the show in the 2nd half for UK.

The Badgers juts 5.2 seconds away from victory was led by Ben Brust and Sam Dekker's 15 points each. Traevon Jackson added 12 points and four rebounds while Frank Kaminsky dba "Frank the Tank" had just 8 points and four boards. The Badgers inability to get Kaminsky involved had a huge factor on Wisconsin's Chances of winning this one as UK had no one to guard him. Bronson Koenig had 11 points off the bench as the Badgers shot 19 for 20 from the Stripe.

Big Blue Nation now meets Kevin Ollie and the UConn Huskies on Monday Night for all the marbles and that should be a good one. It will be UConn's Guards and Mr. Daniels against the Size and Athleticism of the 'Cats.
