The UConn Huskies have been riding their Guards Ryan Boatright and AP 1st Team All-American Shabazz Napier all season long and Saturday in Arlington, Texas was no different. The Huskies dominate the Gators in almost every facet of the game and the gators for once in their 39 games looked a bit lost.

Behind DeAndre Daniels 20 points and ten boards and the defensive pressure of Bazz and Boat the Gators 2013-14 SEC Players of the Year Scottie Wilbekin looked B-Team and yes I went there. Wilbekin was 2 for 9 including 0-3from the field with three turnovers. Patric Young the Senior Forward and a 2010 Big Mac (McDonald's All-American Player) was the Gators only offensive force netting 19 points on 7 of 13 from the field.  The Gators shot just 39% from the field and a woeful 10% from the Arc. Senior Small Forward Casey Prather had 15 points and six boards.

Back to the Huskies advancing they get four Players in double figures. Along with Daniels' 20 points Boat added 13 points and six boards and three helpers. Bazz had a Dozen points waiting on six UConn Tables and getting three stick-ups. Neil Giffey from Berlin, Germany was big with 11 points as he provided another scorer on tat UConn Front Line and the Gators go down.

UConn no awaits the winner between the UK Wildcats and Wisconsin Badgers in Game #2 as the Championship is Monday April 7th...
