The Chicago Blackhawks will be well represented in the 2014 Sochi Winter Games as Nine Blackhawks are going to be representing their respective countries for a chance at Gold in February 2014. Captains Jonathan Toews and Duncan Keith lead the Hawks for Team Canada as Patrick Kane was names last week for Team USA.

The Blackhawks heading to Sochi 2014:

CANADA:

Jonathan Toews
Duncan Keith
Patrick Sharp

USA:

Patrick Kane

CZECH Republic:

Michael Rozsival

SWEDEN:

Niklas Hjalmarsson
Johnny Oduya
Marcus Kruger

SLOVAKIA:

Marian Hossa
Michael Handzus

Net Minder Corey Crawford nor D Brent Seabrook (on 2010 Gold Medal Winning Canadian Team) missed the cut. The Canadian most likely went with a Left-Hander at the Blue Line and that left Seabrook (+20 2nd in the NHL) out.

Hjalmarsson and  Kruger of Team Sweden were are former Rockford Icehogs...

Patrick Sharp missed the cut for Team Canada in 2010 and is on the Team in 2014...

Congrats to the "HAWKS 10" for Sochi 2014...#GoldOrBust
