The Pittsburgh Steelers have run into some Salary Cap Issues and there are a Few Big Name Vets the Steelers won't keep because of the Cap. There is also One Players who is on the Outs and seemed to be on the Outs after a turned down a Huge Deal from the Steelers. The Steelers have released and traded Players before if they fill there is a need to do so and nothing is more urgent then what the Steelers will do for the 2013 Roster.

OLB James "Mr. Clean" Harrison #92, ILB Larry "Motor City" Foote #50, NT Casey " I hate Running the Camp LaTrobe Test" Hampton #98, and Da Kid of the soon to be defunct "Young Money Crew:..WR Mike Wallace. Here are the Issues the Steelers face with keeping these Players:

Mr. Clean #92 Harrison....he is due a whopping $6.6 Million but slow your roll. The Steelers were a better Defense with him as #92 was getting healthy towards the end of the 2012 season. Yes James is on the Decline but can the Steelers , if they keep him, force him to take a Pay Cut or even restructure that 2013 Cap Hit?...Steelers need to keep #92.

"Motor City..the D" #50 Foote (pictured Right)...Foote led the Steelers in Tackles in 2012 with 113 including 75 solo and also tied for 4th with 4 Red Jersey Collections. Foote is very important as he calls the Defensive Signals as Ryan Clark is as important in the Back End lining up the Secondary. The Question remains can Stevenson Sylvester or Sean Spence (coming off August 2012 ACL Injury) beat Foote out of his Position or are the Steelers comfortable moving forward without #50. Tough Call here...

"I hate Gassers at Cam LaTrobe PA" Hampton....Casey also was coming off an ACL Injury and he played extremely well late but it might have been too late. They drafted Alameda Ta'amu from U-Dub Seattle in the 4th Round in 2012 and they have Big Steve McClendon ready to take Hamp's Spot. I Think Hamp is a goner unless the Steelers take a different turn as they need to start developing the Young Guys and the Young Guys need to start stepping up. Former Hookem' Horns U All-American is 65-35 Dunzo as a Steeler.

"Da Kid" #17 Wallace...I know what your thinking Steelers Nation let me get on the Bluedude Soap Box real Quick...Ok...calm down...calm down. Yes Wallace looked at times disinterested because they didn't give him MEGAtron Money (As Wallace acts like he doesn't look at Stats or Impact on the Game) . Wallace and His Agent made a huge Mistake or shall I say him listening to his Agent as he tuned down $40 Million plus from the Steelers and they promptly move that over to Steelers WR Antonio "Tone 2.0" Brown's Locker Stall. They say the Dawg Pound would pay Wallace Big Money and there will be other Suitors as there is No Way in Wilson Pigskins Wallace is a Steeler in 2013. Look for the 12th Man Space Needle, Quest for Six...Niners, Jeff Fisher Group...Rams, Dawg Pound...Browns, and Aqua Boyz 305..Phins to be major Players for Wallace and around $55-$60 Million. Wallace is done as a Steeler....Wow and for the most part it is Self-Inflicted.

"Shard" #34 Mendenhall...the Crazy Saga of Former 1st Round Running Back that looked like he was going to etch his name all over the Steelers RB Record Books. Well it changed on a Week 17 ACL Injury in the 1st Week of January 2012. Now he came back around Week 7 and it looked OK. Another set back with an Achilles Strain and he fell back on the Depth Chart. The Sticking Point was him not coming to the stadium at all for the next to last home game as he was told he was going to dress. Then when the Owner, who rarely gets into singling out players throws you in Three Rivers, you are probably no longer going to be on that Payroll moving forward. Shard is 90-10 Gone and most likely has already left the 'Burgh never to return....Can't miss on 1st Rounder you just can't.

Rebuild...Steelers Nation stay away from that Word or using it in your Sunday Tackle Football Language.

As for My Beloved Steelers Change is Life in Life and on Sunday. Word to the Wise quit buying them Authentic Jerseys and by the Retired Players Jerseys as they won;t change like the Bus, Rod Woodson, Lloyd, Greene, Kirkland, and all all the 70s Steelers...you can't go wrong.
