Rip City BLAZERS @ White Hot HEAT
The Blazers were playing extremely well about a Month ago but what is happening is expected at lead for many observers outside of Rip City Nation. The Good and the Bad for the Blazers in the 2012-13 Season:
The Good...The Starting Five for the Blazers average Double-Figures led by PF and 2012-13 All Star LaMarcus Aldridge aka L-Train (21 ppg 9 rebs 2.6 assts 1.22 blks) as Seagoville, Texas stand Up for your Train..the Rip City's L-Train.
The Bad...where are the reinforcements for the Blazers as they have No Bench and Rookie PG Damian Lillard has even better than advertised and before seeing him he was that good. The Blazers have No Depth and when your burning the Candle at Both Ends you will get burned eventually.
Tonight's Game is about more of what the Blazers need to do for themselves instead of worrying about what the Heat can do. Yes King James is on every ones mind but the Blazers Starting Five can play with anyone in the Logo and they have an advantage at the PF (L-Train) and at PG (Lillard over Heat's PG Regular Mario). Having aid that Wes Matthews Jr. (guarding Wade County), Nicolas Batum (guarding King James), and JJ Hickson (guarding CB1..Chris Bosh) will have their work cut out.
Defensively the Blazers must keep the Heat Top Two of the Bounce with the Orange, Wade County and King James, out of the Paint in the Heat's Half Court Sets. Coach Spo will combat Team's forcing Wade or James into Double Teams by spreading you out with Shooters. The NY Football Giants have the "Nascar Package" well the Heat have the "Land of Plenty Package"...all Shooters coupled with Wade County or James or both. The Blazers will be force to stay home when the Heat have Sugar Ray, Regular Mario, M&M Plain..Mike Miller, and Shard Lewis on the Floor. They are all Certified and Verified Money Ball Artists with Sugar Ray the "King of the Land of Plenty" as he is the Logo's All-Time Leader in made Money Balls.
Ok Blazer Nation of Veterans Memorial Coliseum Faithful enough talking about the Heat as though they need the Bluedude Jock-Sniffin' the Champs 305. The Blazers need to pick their Spots and execute in the Half Court Sets. Go to L-Train on as many Pick and Rolls or Pick n Pops as you can and have Matthews and Batum at the Arc. Blazers have to knockdown Money Balls and from the Charity Stripe to stay in the game. Rip City Rook PG Lillard has to be very efficient not just in his Play with the Orange but his Decision-Making. Can the Blazers keep it close enough in the End to try to steal a Win with James playing in the O-Zone Layer and Wade County trying to get a One-Way Ticket to the Layer? Blazers are a fun Team to watch and if you haven't seen them this Game is worth tuning ion as L-Train is perhaps the #1 PF in the Game...Real Talk.
