It will go down as a HOF Career one would think as Former Packers CB/FS Charles Woodson (pictured right) was released by the Packers Today. Not too surprising as the Packers are trying to dump Salary as well as mix some Youth into the Roster. Woodson is a Heisman Trophy Winner that has flourished on Sunday and that in itself is a rare commodity. Heisman Trophy Winners do not fare very well on the NFL and History shows that. Woodson was due to make $9 Million in 2013 and at 36 years of age he could be a Big Pick Up for a Contender in 2013.

Packers WR Greg Jennings will be a pretty highly sought after Free Agent in 2013 as he too is leaving the Packers as the WR Corps of the Pack is real deep. With 2011 1st Rounder Randall Cobb emerging, Jordy Nelson and Greg Jones having more of an Impact in 2012 than Jennings most knew #85 in Green and Gold would be on his way out. Injuries will keep Jennings from getting the Big Pay Day that he is seeking but he should get on with someone looking for a Solid #2 WR.

The Packers are no different than any other Team in the NFL as they try to get under the New NFL Cap. Key Veterans all over Sunday tackle Football will be getting walking papers especially of your Cap Hit is too high. The Packers over a Month ago had over $7 Million in Salary Cap Space for the 2013 Season.
