After watching the Lakers and Heat Game there were a few things that stuck out like Rebounding and Half Court Defense. But the Telling Stat was that the Heat seem to want it more than the Lakers and if the Effort isn't there the LAKEshow might as well cash the 2012-13 Season in and starts from scratch.

The Heat's 107-97 victory over the Lakers had nothing to do with King James and Wade County's Scoring but more to do with the Hustle Board. That's right the "Hustle Board" and let's get right to it:

LAKEshow/White Hot...Hustle Board

Rebounds Heat 38 Lakers 29 (Heat 10 Offensive Rebs to Lakers 5 Offensive Rebs)

Thefts Heat 10 Lakers 9

Block Shots Heat 6 Lakers 3 (Lakers have Dwight)

Assists Heat 19 Lakers 16

Turnovers Heat 11 Lakers 14

That is only half of what really happened as the Heat ran down Offensive Rebound after Offensive Rebound and they had all sorts of 2nd and 3rd Chance Opportunities. King James had 32 points and Wade County 30 points as Kobe led the Lakers with 28 points.

The Lakers were in the Game until the 9 minute mark or so of the Last Frame when Wade County went on a run by himself with King James on the Pine. Is it worth it for the Lakers to be in the Playoffs as a Possible #7 or 8 Seed? The Lakers are #10 in the West as we go to Press at 24-28. Meanwhile the Heat build on their momentum going into the 2nd Half of the Season as they move to an East Leading 34-14.

LAKEshow close out at home before the All-Star Game with the Suns and Clippers. The Champs 305 close out with Rip City Blazers in 305 then a date at the Regulators Report OKC on Thursday Night.
