The L.A. Lakers come out of the Gate in the 2nd Half fittingly when they honor their Guy...Dr. Jerry Buss and playing the C's...win going away vs the Celts 113-99. The Lakers may have played their best Game to date start to finish of the 2012-13 Season and that is a promising sign.

Dwight of Three Stripes (pictured right) and the Star in a Leading Role of the Lakers #1 Soap "As Dwight Turns" led the LAKEshow with 24 points and 12 rebounds. Front court mate Earl Clark aka the "Earl of Staples" also chipped in heavy with a 14 points and 16 rebound performance.

The Lakers came right out the gate with a 36 points effort playing on the Late Great Dr. Jerry Buss motivation. If the Lakers were to get a Must-Win in the 2nd half of the season it was going to be this one. The C's get a huge effort from Big Guard Courtney Lee with 20 points as Paul Pierce led the C's with 26 points. The Lakers inch closer and closer to that magic mark of .500 as they try to chase down the RED nation Rockets. The C's have now lost three in a row counting the loss before All-Star Break and they will be actively seeking to get a PG as the NBA Trade Deadline is some 14 plus hours away.

The Key to Victory tonight was the Lakers pounded the C's on the window by a +15 margin and a +7 on the offensive glass. The Lakers also shoot just over 50% from the Field and only had 12 turnovers. Both benches played well as the Lakers edge the C's 33-29 off the pine.
