The Bluedude vividly remembers the Lakers "Showtime" Teams of the 80s as Run and Gun, Short Shorts, the Great Western Forum in Ingelwood, the Laker Girls, Hollywood's Stars in abundance at the "Forum Club". Not to be out done the "Lakeshow" Lakers in the New Staples Center led by the "Zen Master" Phil Jackson, Shaq, and Kobe Bryant. Then you put "Showtime" and the "Lakeshow" together and all those 10 Chips were under the Man, the Myth, and the Good Doctor...Dr. Jerry Buss.

Buss also was responsible for the Lakers New Digs downtown the Staples Center where they have put up 4 Championships as some of the more noted Lakers Players n Coaches under Buss are Pat Riley (Kentucky), Phil Jackson (North Dakota), Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (UCLA), Magic Johnson (Michigan State Sparty), James Worthy (UNC), Byron Scott (Arizona State), Kurt Rambis (Santa Clara), Jamaal Wilkes (UCLA), Derek Fisher (Ark-Little Rock), Robert Horry (Alabama), and Kobe Bryant (Lower Merion HS).

He was one of the best owners in the Logo and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010. What he did for the Lakers was one thing...but what he meant to L.A., the NBA, and the Basketball World was much more.

Dr. Jerry Buss was 80.....R.I.P.
