The #2 ranked nationally Duke Blue Devils coming off of a off night Saturday in Cameron beating the Ramblin' Wreck of Georgia Tech 66-53 made sure the Notre Dame Fighting Irish playing at home near the Golden Dome had no thoughts of springing an upset.

Behind 26 points and nine boards with 4 blocks and the nerve of Zion to wait on four Duke Tables
(4 assists) dominated the Irish. Included in that Zion grabbing an Orange around the white square on the backboard and a 360 Off the dribble spin to the left baseline for a ....finger roll as ND has no answers for him.

Th Blue Devils led 46-28 after one and then coasted to a 83-61 "W" in ACC Play that runs them to 7-1 in conference. Duke moves to 18-2 overall and only the Louisville Cardinals, North Carolina Tar Heels and Virginia Cavaliers have one loss in ACC Play.

Duke's other dynamic freshman R.J. Barrett added 17 points and nine boards with Cam Reddish chipping in with 13. Duke shot 50% plus from the field and arc but 57% from the charity stripe is not going to cut it.

The Irish was led by John Mooney's team-high 14 points and eleven boards with Prentiss Hubb adding 13 with four assists and TJ Gibbs with a dozen. Once Notre Dame fell behind early that was the ball game. ND falls to 11-10 and 1-7 in ACC Play as they shot a horrid 36% from the field and 35% from Gary, Indiana.

Next up for Duke the Johnnies of St. John's
in Cameron Indoor on Saturday February 2nd, 2k19...
