The San Antonio Spurs didn't want to be a part of NBA History talking the 2014-15 Philadelphia 76ers 1st win as the Spurs in cruise control rolled 109-103 and it wasn't that close. It was Spurs star SF Kawhi Leonard of Steve Fisher's SDSU Aztecs  that led all scorers with a game-high 26 points while grabbing ten Spalding oranges as he continues to be a problem for Spurs opposition through the 82-game trek.

San Antonio led through the first three frames as Philly was never a threat. San Antonio also gets 15 points and nine boards from Aussie Center Aron Baynes and 14 points, eight boards, and six assists from TP9's Caddy Cory Joseph.

Philly was led by the reigning Rook of the Year in PG Michael Carter-Williams with a team-high 24 points and eleven boards to go along with seven assists. Russian combo guard Alexey Shved added 19 points as Philly shot just 15 of 25 from the stripe.

San Antonio moves to 13-4 while the Sixers fall to 0-17 matching the 2nd worst start in NBA history!
