Nats Ace Stephen Strasburg didn't see this coming as the Miami Marlins opened up a Can on the Nats and "S2" with a whopping 11-2 beat down of Washington. The Fightin' Fish scored a crooked three in the fist two innings to go up 6-0 and the first three were via the Long Ball by Marlins Star Giancarlo Stanton.

Stanton took "S2" deep to open the scoring as he went 2 for 4 with 5 RBIs and three runs scored. "S2" only lasted four innings giving up eight hits charged with six runs as he walked three and struck out five. The Marlins scored three more in the 2nd on two singles and then a crooked five in the 5th inning to cap their scoring at eleven runs. The only highlight for the Nats was Shortstop Zach Walters Solo Bomb in the 9th inning after the Nats had made it 11-1 in the 8th inning.

Marlins Starter Tom Koehler went seven strong with all that run support allowing just one hit (a Lead-Off Hit to Nats Hot Corner Anthony Rendon) as he walked five and struck out three. The Fightin' Fish move to 6-9 braking that eight-game skid while the Nats fall to 8-6.
