The Portland Trailblazers already knew that the #4 seed Houston Rockets had fallen earlier in the Mile High City to the Nugs. The Blazers came into their tilt just two games back sitting in the #5 slot behind the Rockets. The Sacramento Kings on the other hand have nothing to do but play Darth Vader or the "Grinch that stole Rip City's Chances at the #4 Seed".

The Blazers leading 27-20 at the end of one stretched that lead out to ten at the end of the 1st half 56-46.  The Kings still hanging tough and within striking distance trailed by eight 79-71 after three. Forever Purple behind Rook Ray McCallum Jr.'s Play followed by @boogiecousins took the lead late in the 4th 99-97 on two Cousins free throws. Then with Rip City All-Star Point God Damian Lillard with the Orange he gave Dorell Wright a chance to be the hero and ...Splash! as Wright's Money Ball hits Nylon and Rip City is a game behind the Rockets with four games to play for the #4 seed in the
West.

Blazers were led by L-Train Aldridge's 22 points and eight boards along with both Wes Matthews Jr and Lillard netting nineteen apiece with D.L also waiting on ten Rip City Tables. Boogie Cousins led Forever Purple with a game-high 30 points and a dozen boards. Rook McCallum Jr. starting for the injured Isaiah Thomas had 23 points and eight helpers with KU's Ben McLemore adding 16 points.

Rip City moves to 51-28 as the Rockets are 52-26....Forever Purple heading to the Corner Store for  Lottery Tickets!
