More times than not the hitting is ahead of the pitching when the 162-Game trek starts. Not so in Milwaukee as Braves Starter Aaron Harang and Brewers Starter Matt Garza avoided Ash, Maple, and Bamboo until the 7th.

In the 7th it was Braves Hot Corner Chris Johnson who touched them all with a Big Fly to put the Braves up 1-0 and in the end the that would be the game-winner. As Braves Harang, Avilan, Carpenter, and Kimbrel combine to two hit the Brew Crew. Harang went 6 2/3 innings allowing two hits walking one and striking out three. Matt Garza gave up the Big Fly to Johnson but was on his A-Game outside of that one mistake. Garza went eight allowing two hits, a Free Pass, and striking out seven with that costly "Tater".

Braves Captain "Save-A-Game" Craig Kimbrel gets Save #2 in as many chances as he is Bluedude Sportstalk #1 Captain slamming the door shut! Braves move 2-1 and the Brew Crew falls to 1-2.
