Again the Prince takes over the MLB All-Star Game and he gets his 2nd HR Derby Victory only to say he still trails the Kid Griffey Jr. by 1.

Fielder beat out the Jays Power Hitter Jose Bautista in the Final Round 12 to 7 and hit 6 of 7 Bombs over 450 Feet. His Swing and Power to All Fields is very conducive to the HR Derby as he has the Powerful Upper-Cut Type that just lifts the Ball with Velocity. Another Player that comes to mind is the Carmines' DH "Big Papi" Ortiz with the same kind of swing.

The AL and NL Starters from the Bump were announced by Skips Wash of Texas and Retired Redbirds Skip LaRussa.

The AL will go with Tigers Ace and 2011 Cy Young Award Winner and MVP...Right-Hander Justin Verlander. Verlander comes in with a 9-5 Record, a 2.58 ERA, and 128 Whiffs which is tied for the Lead in the Show with the M's Kid Felix and the Nats Strasburg. Other Options for Wash to start were the Pale Hose Rook Chris Sale (10-2, 2.19 ERA) or Jered Weaver of the Halos (11-4, 2.82 ERA).

The NL will go with one of the three Magnificent Starters for the Gigantes in Right-Hander Matt Cain.  Cain edged out the Amazins' Knuckler R.A. Dickey (12-1, 2.40 ERA), and the Top Duo in the Show from the Nats the aforemetioned Strasburg (9-4, 2.82 ERA 128 K's) and Gio Gonzalez (12-3, 2.92 ERA).

Cain is having a Cy Young Worthy season ass he is carrying the Gigantes along with Bumgarner as Lincecum has struggled in bit in the 1st half. Cain has electric Stuff as does Verlander who many think is the #1 Starter in all of Baseball.
