Oklahoma City were not to be denied as the Spurs throwing hay makers from the onset to no avail as the Thunder will get the chance to invite Larry O'Brien to Oklahoma City for at least 10 months and maybe more.

TP9 hands out 29 and 12 helpers. Captain Jack goes 6 for 6 with the Money Ball and puts in 23 Big Ones. Dunc goes for 25 and 14 but it was Gino's lackluster performance with 10 points that helped in the Spurs not advancing. The Silver and Black...Riverwalk Texas Edition... needed all their Guns to be blazing and if one wasn't they would take an L and that's what happened.

Down by 15 at half the thunder wasted no time in cutting that in the 3rd frame and the Spurs knew it was coming and could do nothing about it. Uncle Russ was at the Controls again for the Thunder as he went for 25, 8 boards, and 5 helpers and made TP9 work in the 2nd half which slowed Parker down tremendously. KD went for the usual 34 points and 14 off the glass as the Thunder will advance to their 1st Logo Finals since they were in Seattle in the 1995-96 season led by George Karl and the Glove Gary Payton.

They were talking in the Summer of 2010 about no one stopping the Miami Heat when the Heat picked up King James and Bosh. Was anyone watching the Thunder in the West besides the teams in their Conference...probably not.

GM Sam Presti drafted KD, Uncle Russ, Ibaka, and Harden. Then mad e a somewhat controversial trade in sending Jeff Green to the C's for Kendrick Perkins. Not knowing Green's Medical Condition it looked like a Win-Win for both. Perk was the piece that put the thunder over the Top as he gives them that Nasty on their Front line to go along with Ibaka and Collison.

Durant wins the Western Finals MVP Trophy at the ripe age of 23 and the Thunder are just now getting started. Remember when LeBron was on that Stage saying Not 1, Not 2, and so on and so forth. Well the Heat who have yet to get a Chip, at least James and Bosh, are fighting their own demons. Now it looks like the Heat if they get through the C's have a way bigger obstacle then the Mavs last season. The Thunder are younger than the the Heat and if they put a Chip up now it might be in OK City for years to come if they can keep their Core Group together.

Twenty Years from now they will say we lived in a Time of King James. But now Pundits and Fans of the Logo Orange will also say we lived in a Time of Kevin Durant.....the KING of the West and soon to be in the Logo.
