Game 1 Today goes to the Cubbies behind 7 Innings of shutout ball from Cubs Ace Ryan Dempster.  Demps scattered 4 hits, walked 2 and struck out 3 on his way to his 3rd W in a row.

The Carmines Loser in Game 1 was RHP Daisuke Matsuzaka who went 6 giving up 3 runs on 4 hits, and walking and striking out 3. Cubs Save Man Carlos Marmol, always making it close, picks up his 3rd Save on the Season.
