WEST SIDE STORY Report #8....BULLS Small Forward LUOL DENG gets his due and a RESERVE SPOT on the EASTERN Conference All-Star Team

It is about time this man gets his due. In a time where FLASH and DASH gets all the HEADLINES the stories get NO BETTER than the one BULLS SF Luol DENG has written thus far.

In his 7th Season all with the BULLS...DNEG has become one of the most COMPLETE Players in the LOGO as well as one of its best AMBASSADORS Globally. A CITIZEN of ENGLAND coming from the bloodshed of the SUDAN in early childhood DENG has faced all sorts of OBSTACLES to get to this point. LOU went to BLAIR Academy in NJ where he teamed up with current PISTONS Player Charlie VILLANUEVA as they were both TOP 5 player nationally in 2003 an McDONALD's ALL-AMERICANS. DENG chose Coach K and DUKE and VILLANUEVA chose the UCONN HUSKIES and Coach CALHOUN.

BULLS Head Coach Tom THIBODEAU has said repeatedly that LUOL is the ANCHOR to one of the BEST DEFENSES in the LOGO and so goes LOU so goes the BULLS. That is HIGH PRAISE from a coach who just received a CHIP with the BOSTON CELTICS in 2008 and COACH THIBS was the COACH of that DEFENSE as an ASSISTANT with the BIG TICKET Kevin GARNETT anchoring that DEFENSE for the GREEN TEAM.

At PRESS TIME LUOL, who is nursing torn tendons in his wrist, was averaging 16 pts, 7.3 boards, 2 helpers, and 1 theft in 21 Games LOU has played this season. What the COACHES did for the BULLS, LOUL, and the rest of the LOGO is to acknowledge that DENG is one of the PREMIER Small Forwards in our game today.
